Week 7: Discover Fan Loyalty Poll: The Best Seats in the House

With the college football season here, you have the rivals, the tailgating and the option on where to watch your team play. With Discover being the official sponsor for college football season, and being on week 7 of the season, we are on week 7 of the Discover Fan Loyalty Poll. This weeks question for the fans was whether you would prefer to watch the game at home or at the stadium. Well after asking fans, this weeks poll results are in and the numbers are different than what I would have expected. When the fans were asked where they prefer to watch their team play, 83 percent said that they prefer to watch the game from home than at the stadium. For me personally, if we lived closer to the Sooner stadium, I personally think that we would want to try to watch and cheer for our team from there. With the rest of the fans that were polled, 12 percent said that would be on the same page with me, where they would choose to watch the game in the stadium. Then you have the other 4 percent who would be partial to watching the game from a bar or restaurant. Now I guess when you really break it down, and really think on the season on where the best seats for you would be, say had we been able to have the choice to go to the Red River Shoot Out or be home, I would have chosen to watch the game at the stadium, but for the Texas Tech game, I enjoyed watching it from home. I think it also comes to who the team is playing on where I would prefer to watch the game from. We have had plenty of great game days at home as well as at our favorite restaurants with friends. The way I see it, regardless of where you watch the game, as long as you are having fun and enjoying the game and enjoying the company you are keeping during the game, then it is a good day! ·         Oregon State, 1 percent

·         Some other team, 13 percent

·         Not sure, 7 percent
