With my husband and I, yes we do enjoy finding fun family shows for the entire family to watch and together, but once the kids are in bed, we also like to find shows that we can enjoy, without the kids! We like to tune into HBO and watch some great series, which include ones like Game of Thrones and True Detective!
We found the first season of True Detective to be a great one, starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. The show is one that we watched when it aired, and will watch again and again, since we were sent a copy of the series on Blu-Ray!
In this great series, you get two detectives, who are partners, and who sit to tell a story. The two start as young detectives, who are unfamiliar with one another, but who are put to work side by side. One appears to be the all together, young, happily married cop, and the other not to kept together cop. Their stories unravel and come to light as they tell about their partnership during an investigation.
This is a series that was great to watch when it aired on HBO and one that is also great to have and watch over at over again, making it a great gift to get dad this Fathers Day!
