Trend Lab (Preparing For Baby)

I know that whether you are preparing for baby or for a baby shower, there are many items to keep in mind that a parent needs for a new baby. One thing that I know has always been needed with all of my babies, were blankets. I never seemed to have enough. I would have some washing then I would use one, then have others waiting to be washed along with my other daily baby items that I used. I think that when you are getting ready for a baby shower, you cant go wrong with a blanket. As long as it is soft and will keep the baby warm, it will be good to go! I know when I was preparing for our son, I took my daughter shopping. When we found out we were having a boy with him, she was not very happy. She really wanted a little sister, so to help her be more excited about having a little brother, I took her baby shopping with me. I let her buy the first baby boy clothes and items. We went and she loved being able to choose what we would use for her baby brother. She and I both agreed that he would need some blankets, so when we went to get some blankets she had to make sure that they were not only cute, but soft enough for her baby brother. We went through the selection of blankets, and with every one of them, she had to rub the blanket on her face to make sure it was soft enough. When I asked her why her face, she said that if a blanket is scratchy on her face, then it will be scratchy on her baby brothers skin, and she does not want him to get any scratchy blankets. I thought this was a very cute way of looking at it. I have decided that the next time around, I will go with the same tactic when looking for baby items. Recently I was sent a very adorable Trend Lab Velour blanket to review. Since my daughter showing me the trick with baby items about rubbing them on your face to make sure they are soft enough, it has kinda become a habit for me. So the first thing I did when I got this adorable blanket was rub it on my cheek. Pass!! Not only is this blanket very stylish and adorable, but it is also very soft. I know that this next time around, when I do my baby blanket shopping, I will be getting some of the adorable blankets from Trend Lab!!
