In my house, we enjoy finding movies that we can share and watch on our family movie nights, and recently we were sent a great 2 movie collection featuring some of our favorite sea creatures! We were sent the Blu-Ray Special Edition 2 Movie Collection The Little Mermaid II: Return To The Sea and The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Beginning to review! These are both movies that I have enjoyed sharing with Estrella and now we can share and enjoy on our family movie night with the rest of the family. In the movie The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea, Ariel is back but now as the mother of Melody, who shows the same curiosity and spunk that Ariel had when she was younger. Melody is curious about the sea, and the Merpeople of Atlantica, who Ariel tells her are just old fish tales. Melody finds herself stuck between the two worlds, the one of the land creatures and the one of the sea creatures, and the two must join forces in order to show Melody that the 2 are both good and that they can all coexist!
Then with the movie The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Beginning, you get to see Ariel before she became a princess and before she met her prince! When she was just a little mermaid, the kingdom of her father was not what it became, in fact the music that she and her six sisters adored so much, was banned. Ariel joins in with her sisters, and her friends Sebastian and Flounder to bring music and friendship to the kingdom! In all we enjoyed both of these movies, and even though they are princess movies, the entire family was able to enjoy them together! So this holiday season, while you are out looking for those great movies to get and share with your family, be sure to add this Special Edition 2 Movie Collection to your list!
