When it comes to family movie night and the holidays, well I find that those two just go together very nicely. In my home, we enjoy the time we get to spend with family over the holiday break and on those evenings where we all want to gather around and relax as we watch some family movies together, I find that I enjoy seeking out the latest and greatest to add to our list. So when we were sent the movie, The BFG to review, I was excited to check it out and add it to my list of family favorites as well as great holiday gift ideas!
In this movie you get an amazing story that has been brought together by some of the greatest story tellers and movie makers out there that include Ronald Dahl, Walt Disney, and Steven Spielberg. Together, they have brought to life that classic tale of a little girl and her friend, The Big Friendly Giant, who shows the little girl a whole new world, the world of giants.
We found this movie filled with wonder and magic, to make for a great addition to our Disney movie collection as well as a great addition to our list of family movie night favorites. We enjoyed seeing that heartwarming story come to life, and we also liked watching all of the bonus material which includes the making of the movie and more! Making The BFG, a great movie to bring home to share with your family as well as a great gift to give this holiday season!
