Switches That Make a Difference

There are many things that you can do to make a difference. Including switching the products you use. I have made a switch that I know makes a difference that many others have made as well. You know when you go to the grocery store and when you are checking out, the cashier will ask paper or plastic? Well it seems nowadays more and more people are making the switch to reusable bags. I know for quite some time I have used both plastic bags and the reusable bags. When I go to department stores like for clothes and shoes, they only seem to have plastic bags. So like I said I was using both. Now, I do reuse the plastic bags in my house for the small trash cans, but I still have to throw them out and thus add to the amount of plastic bags that are in dumps. So I have made the change to take my reusable bags everywhere, even when I am at the mall. Instead of using the plastic bags from the stores, I am using the reusable bags. When we go to the grocery store, and we end up buying a lot of groceries, I try not to bag everything, just the items I dont want to be free roaming in my car like cans and such. That way I dont have the excuse that I had to use plastic bags because I ran out of room in my reusable bags. Sure many can say that they have made the switch, but I have pointed it out to my friends when they use plastic bags because its not a grocery store or they have run out of room. So, if you really want to make the switch that will really make a difference, then really do it, dont just do it on occasion. Now I have shared with you on how I have made a switch that makes a difference, you tell me, what switch can you make or have you made, that makes a difference. I know that there are so many things you can do that can make a difference. Like something as easy as switching the type of toilet tissue you use, from the regular to recycled tissue. Or maybe buying a reusable water bottle and instead of buying that case of water every week, get your water from a distributer. There are so many ways we can make a difference and the thing is, when you take the steps to switch things up in your life to make a difference, people notice. Even more important is your kids notice and they look up to you so they will follow your lead. So like I said, tell me what you have done or something you can do to make that switch that can make a difference!
