This summer has gone by so quickly, we still have another month left here, but the time is flying! When it comes to summer evenings, we love to enjoy them by cooking out, and drinking some of our favorite summer beverages like iced tea and lemonade. With my pregnancy, I have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes, so I really have to watch my sugar and carb intakes. That to me does not mean I have to give up some of my summer favorites like my iced tea and lemonade. I also dont have to give up all of the sweet flavored foods that I enjoy. Instead I can use a alternative sweetener that does not add the sugars and carbs that can bring my blood sugar up. A product that I have on hand this summer and that I find to be a blessing to have is Sweet ‘N Low. In fact, I have used Sweet ‘N Low in the past to sweeten my iced tea, so it wasnt a huge sacrifice to give up the sugar to sweeten with the wonderful Sweet ‘N Low. On top of sweetening my beverages with Sweet ‘N Low, I recently discovered that I can sweeten so much more like desserts and such that I thought I would have to give up over the summer. I love my fresh fruits over the summer and one in particular that I have had a big hankering for has been strawberries. When I usually go for my strawberries for desert, I like to make a strawberry shortcake or tart. So when I was recently sent some Sweet ‘N’ Low and some info on some great recipes, I realized that I could use the Sweet ‘N Low to mix with my cut strawberries to make a glaze then put the strawberries in a bowl on the amazing shortcakes that I learned how to make after reading the recipe for them on the Sweet ‘N Low website! In fact, I found many recipes that I can enjoy and use this summer. On top of the Sweet ‘N’ Low that I was sent I was also sent a apron that I can wear while cooking out or in the kitchen, and I was also sent a tote bag which comes in handy when I am grocery shopping!! Well to celebrate summer the wonderful people from Sweet ‘N Low would like to send one of my amazing readers their own set of great Sweet ‘N Low products just like I was sent!!
