When preparing for a new baby, there is a whole lot to consider when making a list. There are so many items you need to make sure you get so that your baby has everything they need. One of my top items on my baby list is receiving blankets. I know that at the baby shower you end up with a couple of blankets, but I know that you can end up going through several blankets in a 24 hour period! There are many uses for receiving blankets. One of the top uses is for swaddling your baby. Swaddling the baby provides warmth and comfort for your baby. I also use receiving blankets for a burp cloth and for changing the baby on. Even with just using a receiving blanket for swaddling the baby, you can still get messes on it. So having a decent stock in receiving blankets is a must for me!
