This post was sponsored by Chevrolet. I recieved a 2014 Chevy Traverse to review, all opinions are my own.
It is that time of year, the time to get out those road maps and plan out your summer road trips! With having a family, I find that planning out those road trips takes a lot of detail, like the stops that we will make along the way, and also finding the safest ways to travel with the kids.
One thing that we can do to help with keeping our travels safe when on the road is by having a vehicle that offers some amazing safety features, as well as comfort. To get us started with this years summer road trips, we were sent the 2014 Chevy Traverse to review!
With the different vehicles from Chevy, I have found that having the OnStar service available is great and very ideal for when going on those road trips. I like that I can call the wonderful people from OnStar, with just the press of a button, and I can get destination information, by getting directions and having those directions uploaded directly to the vehicles GPS!
Having kids that range from age 1 and up, I find that I need a family vehicle that offers a number of safety features, from the securing of car seats and seat belts, to the back up cameras.
When it comes to the Traverse, I like that when I go to secure Wyatt’s car seat, I can anchor it down to the latch on the back of the seat. I also like that I can pick and choose where to put his car seat in the back, because there are latches available in both of the back rows of seats!
Then when it comes to other safety features, I can really appreciate the backup camera, which allows me to see what is behind me when I put the car into reverse. This is a feature that is not only a added safety feature that I see as a must have for when you have kids or are in a place where there are kids present, but it also comes in handy for when I need to back out or even when I am trying to parallel park!
For the comfort aspect, I find that not only having room for everyone with the third row seating, as well as having controlled air and even front seats that are adjustable for comfort, to be very nice when planning those summer road trips, which are all features that you can find in the 2014 Chevy Traverse!
With the temperature control, both the front seat passengers can set their air settings to their liking, and the backseat passengers can also set the air to the right comfort settings as well as control the vent settings, which is very ideal when traveling during the hot summer!
There are so many great features that the Chevy Traverse has to offer, and in this post I have only named a few, to see more of the features along with gas mileage and such, check out my review on the Chevy Traverse from last year which offers the same amazing gas mileage as well as some of the other great features!
This was not a paid post. I was given a Chevy Traverse to test drive for one week in exchange for the review. All opinions are my own.
Ive always thought these were such a great vehicle. Id love to travel more and it would be even better to travel in a chevy traverse. Id go to the beach
yes! I agree, the beach is a great destination to go to, lol. I have really liked the Traverse, I reviewed one last year and again this year, love the room, and the gas mileage is a plus too!
