Summer is here and most of us are enjoying and taking advantage of these summer days with our families. Going on outings, spending time together and taking vacations together. In all we build memories, summer memories that our children adore and will continue to talk about and reminisce on. I think that even as an adult we look back on those summer memories that we had as children and enjoy thinking about the fun times we had. A fun memory that every child deserves to have is going to a theme park. Summer is all about fun and the theme parks around the country are the places to take the family to enjoy whole days of fun. One particular theme park that I adored going to as a child and one that my kids enjoy now is Six Flags. I love that not only is there two Six Flags theme parks right here in Texas that we can take the family to, but that there are also multiple Six Flags theme parks all over the country, and there is even one in Mexico and one in Canada as well! So when we go to visit family in California, we can all go to Six Flags there and make those precious summer memories while having fun! Well, this summer when our family and friends head out to enjoy a day or two or three at Six Flags, I know that when they use their Discover Card, they will get a instant 5% discount right at the gate. Then as they enjoy their time at Six Flags, they can continue to get the 5% discount through out the park, from the food to the shopping as well as more while they are there. I know this because Discover is the official credit card of Six Flags Theme Parks both online and in person, and when card holders use their Discover Card at any Six Flags Theme Park they will get a 5% discount. Well that is not all Discover Card holders will get this summer. On top of the amazing perk of a 5% discount at Six Flags, from now until September, in celebration of summer, Discover is giving their card holders a 5% cash back bonus. Card holders can get this bonus when they pay for gas using their Discover Card, or when they use their card at theme parks or at the movies on purchases up to $1,500!! I think that the perks are huge especially when you are traveling with the family this summer!! I haven't been to Six Flags since I've been in the 6th grade on a field trip but the ride was a backwards rollercoaster! I had never been on a rollercoaster and was scared but my classmate told me if I rode that one I would ride every rollercoaster after that! That was the truth! I love rollercoasters now! My hubby and daughter have never been to Six Flags but it's definitely a nice family theme park! I also love the Hellavator? I think it was called. That was definitely a scary one for me!
