Share Your Vision and Help Others with Glasses.com

This review and giveaway was made possible by iConnect Influencer Management and  Glasses.com. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.

As we head into the new school year, we want to ensure that our kids are set. We do this by making sure that they have the tools they will need to help them do their very best at school. This vision for my kids is one that many other parents share as well, and when it comes to the kids, I want to ensure that aside from the supplies that are on those lists, that they have seen the dentist, had a physical, and also have seen the eye doctor as we head into the new school year. After seeing the doctors, I want to be sure that if need be, that my kids get the proper care they need which includes having the glasses when the need arises. The thing is, not everyone who shares this vision can afford to provide the tools when it comes to something like seeing a eye doctor and getting glasses. So when I learned about the Share Your Vision campaign that is going on right now at Glasses.com, I was curious to learn more and also share this amazing initiative with my readers!

See, like many who have kids who wear glasses and contacts, I know that making sure that my kids have the correct eyewear is very important. With having a need for glasses, I know that my kids will have a very important tool because they will be able to see clearly and focus more on the work than having to struggle to see the work. I also like that when it comes to the selection, like say for my trendy pre-teen, I can find those designer frames and more when I shop at Glasses.com.

After ordering a pair of glasses from Glasses.com, I was pleasantly surprised to see how simple it was to find a pair, place my order, upload my prescription which I was able to do via text message, then await just a few short days to receive my order. I also found that by ordering those glasses that my family and I need from Glasses.com. that we can in hand help others get the proper eyewear that they need as well.

With the Glasses.com partnership with OneSight, which is an independent nonprofit committed to eradicating the global vision care crisis, they have joined together to make the Share Your Vision campaign a reality for many. With each purchase that you make at Glasses.com, a pair of glasses will be provided to a person in need. And with the fact that 1.1 billion people lack access to an eye exam or a pair of glasses, we find that clear vision empowers and together we can solve this!  After you have placed your order of prescription eyewear from Glasses.com, they will send you an email letting you know about their participation in the OneSight campaign and encourage you to share the provided “double donation” link via email or social media.

Along with this campaign I learned that the amazing people from both Glasses.com and OneSight do not stop their work after those orders are placed. They continue to help with the Share Your Vision by shipping the frames that are donated to both local and global OneSight vision clinics. From there I learned that volunteer optometrists help to give free eye exams, and volunteers also help patients then select their frames. And in that same day after getting a eye exam and finding a frame, the prescriptions are filled so that every patient walks out with a new pair the glasses they need. Which in hand helps them to unlock that potential that we all have within us and makes the choice to shop at Glasses.com one where we can get the glasses we need and also help others get glasses they need as well!

I'm going to look at this site. My mom needs new glasses, and I need some too. This sounds like a wonderful company.

I'm in need of a new pair of glasses and need to get my eyes checked again for a new prescription. I'll keep this in mind!
