It seems like when it comes to the winter and even spring months, there are a lot of runny noses, and with those runny noses can come those nasty colds. In my house, aside from the colds, we also have to be cautions of those spring time allergies. So, like many other moms out there, I prepare for the colds and allergies in my home. I prepare by having the humidifiers going to keep the air from getting too dry, as well as adding vapors, to help with those stuffy noses. I also like to have oral decongestants on hand and the allergy medicines that the Dr may have ordered for different family members, as well as some fever reducers in case we have to battle any fevers from the cold and in case we have to battle those body aches as well. Then to help relieve the sinus pressure and help clear out those nasal airways, I like to have some saline nasal spray on hand. One product that is a must have, year round for my house is, tissues. Having a box in each room, insures that if there is a runny nose, it can be taken care of. One brand of tissues that I like to have on hand in our house is Scotties Tissues.
