Finding movies to share with mom and give to her to watch on Mothers Day is something I enjoy doing. As a mom myself, I find that being able to take the day off to relax and just enjoy the day can make all the difference and adding a great movie to the mix can make the day that much better. Recently I was sent the perfect Mothers Day movie when I was sent The Choice to review.
Like other stories from the Nicholas Sparks collection, The Choice is one that has the drama and romance brought to the screen to enjoy. You find a bachelor who enjoys the life he has and in his mind, has no reason to ever want to settle down, or at least not anytime soon. That is until he meets his new neighbor, who unlike other women he has encountered, is not affected by his flirtatious easy talking charm, and whom in her own way, charms him. He finds himself falling in love with this neighbor, but finds that fate has another hand for him to play where he puts not only his love on the line but also both of their futures on the line as well.
I found this movie to be a great romantic movie that has one of those southern love stories in it that makes for a movie that is perfect for watching on date night in or on Mothers Day! I also found that when watching this movie, whether you are with others or alone, you are going to want to have the tissues ready because like all great love stories you might find yourself crying! Which for me, makes The Choice a great movie to get mom this Mothers Day!
