When it comes to the shows my daughter and her friends and enjoy watching, on that list is My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. We have enjoyed not only watching the show when it comes on, but also adding the DVD’s to our collection as they come out, so when we were sent the new DVD, My Little Pony- Friendship Is Magic: Adventures of the Cutie Mark Crusaders to review, we were very excited to check it out and add it to our collection of My Little Pony favorites!

In this DVD, you find that with the young ponies in Equestria, getting the Cutie Mark is a very important moment in their lives. They can only get this mark, once they have discovered those unique characteristics about themselves, which makes them unique and stand out from the rest. And in this adventure, you find a group of little ponies who become great friends and go on a mission to get their very own Cutie Marks!

In this great DVD you get episodes which include, The Cutie Mark Chronicles, The Cutie Pox, Flight to the Finish, Pinkie Pride, and Twilight Time! You can also get some great bonus features which include a sing-a-long, coloring sheets and more! On the weekends, we let the kids pick a couple of their favorite shows to watch with the entire family. It never fails too, one network in which my two eldest will watch together, is the Hub Network. So naturally, when I was asked to become a member of the Hub Club, I could not say no. We enjoy watching many of the Hub Network series, and one that my daughter adores is, “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic“.

With the season coming to an end and the finale airing this Saturday May 10 at 10 am EST, well you can guess that not only does my daughter have an alarm set for the airing, but she also has it set to record, just in case she misses anything. Even though I am an Hub Club member, I find that sharing secrets, like say, the season finale with my daughter, ruins her anticipation, and even though I hold a DVD with the season finale on it, I will not share with her, her brother or any of her friends.

I was sent a My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Flip and Whirl Rainbow Dash to share with my daughter, along with some fun My Little Pony confetti, and the DVD with the finale on it for my own review. I figure, that on Saturday morning, as my daughter prepares for the season finale, I can set up a fun little display and surprise her with the doll on a table covered in fun confetti. Then after she watches the finale, we can go on and find a new My Little Pony friend from the Build-A-Bear Workshop!

With this being the fourth season, my daughter has not only grown a collection of the movies with the series on them, but her collection of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic products from toys to clothing, reminds me of my own collection of My Little Pony products from when I was a little girl!

Well to get on to the anticipation of the season finale, fans everywhere will find some amazing adventure unfold in the two part finale. We will see the Princess Twilight Sparkle, continue to try to find her place as a princess, and in doing so, she will put her focus on an object that she believes to hold meaning. As well as other friends from the Equestrian group! I do not think that it is fair to tell what is to come, but lets just say, the season finale will have fans on the edges of their seats, and excited that after the first episode airs on Saturday, they can continue on with the second episode right after, with both episodes airing back to back!

So if you have “My Little Pony Friendship is Magic” fans in your home, make sure you tune in this Saturday at 10 am EST, or set your DVR, so they do not miss the season finale! Also, make the occasion extra special and have a My Little Pony kinda day, by heading to your local Build-A-Bear to bring home a My Little Pony Friendship is Magic friend, or head out and find some of the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic toys!

My daughter loves to watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic on The Hub, and when we hear about new DVD’s coming out with her favorite episodes on them, she loves getting them! Recently we were sent the DVD My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Pinkie Pie Party to review.
