In my home, we do a lot of cooking, and the majority of that cooking is from scratch. So when we were asked to create a recipe and share it for the Mrs. Dash Dashionita Recipe Challenge, we were thrilled! I mean, when it comes to the seasonings we can use from the Mrs. Dash collection, the opportunities for recipes we can come up with are endless!
With the summer here, when I think of fun, home cooked meals, I think of seafood recipes. The summer reminds me of the beach, and when we are at or near a beach, we tend to indulge in the local seafood dishes. When I started thinking of a dish, I wanted to do something fresh, with a pleasant kick to it, so I decided to go with the Mrs. Dash Caribbean Citrus Seasoning Blend. The end result, I got a plate with seasoned salmon, creamed corn with bacon, and a fresh garden salad!
