Making Playtime Fun with the i-Mat from Creative Baby

With my kids, I like to find products that not only entertain them, but that are also products that can be educational, so they can have fun and learn while having fun. My two eldest children enjoy playing on their tablets and such, where I can find fun apps to download for them to enjoy, but when it comes to my youngest, as there are apps that he can play on, I find that giving him screen time is not as often as his older siblings since he is also quite young.

When it comes to my youngest, he enjoys the hands on play, and play that we can get on the floor with and enjoy together. So when we were sent the i-Mat from Creative Baby, I saw this as a toy that we could both enjoy together. The first thing I did when my i-Mat arrived was take a look at the box, then figure out how to set it up. I right away found relief, when I saw that the mat came in 4 pieces, which were easy to put together and place on the floor for playtime. Another plus about the mat coming in those 4 pieces was that after we had our playtime, we can easily put it away and store it until we want to take it out again!

Once we got it put together, I realized that with this one mat, my youngest and I, and even other family members, can enjoy playtime, interacting with and exploring all of the animals and activities on this mat. I also like that the mat is made of soft foam, so we can all enjoy the interactive fun, but also stay comfortable while playing on the hard surfaced floors! The set we got came with the Voice Pen, which is what brings the i-Mat: My Animal World, to life!

The fun features of the i-Mat and Voice Pen include 3 languages which include English, Spanish, and Chinese. There are both basic and advanced games, which is great for when my older kids want to play on the mat with the baby. 

We can also enjoy the realistic animal sounds and fun music as we play. And with the game play, I can appreciate that it teaches both vocabulary and comprehension skills, and the voice recorder that comes on the pen, captures special moments! Giving us a toy that offers a potential for creative learning, stimulates baby during play, teaches, and entertains as we play!

The play is easy to navigate as well, and with all of the name bubbles next to each of the animals on this map, we can have fun exploring, while baby begins to recognize the animals and even the names that go with each animal, when he places the Voice Pen over the bubbles!
