As a parent, I have learned that over the years, you can not be there every second of your child’s life. We find that when we have babies in the home, we worry constantly. We worry if they are eating enough, when they sneeze or cough, if they will be okay, and we worry when they sleep at night, constantly checking in on them to ensure they are breathing and sleeping without any issues. I have learned that this worry does not just go away either, it starts from the moment we find we are pregnant and find ourselves counting heartbeats along with the nurses and doctors, counting those kicks throughout the days and even nights to make sure our babies will get the best possible start we can give them. Then finding that once baby arrives, we are watching them as they breathe, ensuring we see their chests rise and fall as they breathe, and watching as they move in their sleep.
Well as a parent, I found that this constant checking on baby not only helps to ease a worried parents mind, but is also leads to those sleepless days and nights. So as a parent I like to seek out products that can help make life a little easier with baby, and when I was sent the Mimo Smart Baby Monitor Starter Pack to try out and review, I was excited to share it with my readers as well!
With the Mimo Smart Baby Monitor, I was sent a kit that included 3 onsies, a Turtle Bluetooth transmitter, and a Lily Pad Wi-Fi and charging station!
Once we had the onsies out, and put the turtle on one, we were ready to then download the Mimo App. With the Mimo App, I like that it can be used on both Android and iOS devices. I also like that with this app, I can customize it so it can help me with tracking my babies health while they sleep.
It does the tracking by not only giving me a in the moment breathing pattern that I can watch as baby is sleeping in the next room from my phone, but it can also alert me of babies sleeping position and temperature. This information is something that can not only allow parents to sleep a little easier at night when baby is sleeping, but it can be used from multiple devices, allowing both my husband and I to track babies sleep patterns even if I am at home and my husband is at work.
After baby is done sleeping, we can then turn to the app and see a summary that gives me a complete readout to show me babies sleep pattern and any alerts that came up while baby was sleeping. And when it comes to when baby is restless, needs a diaper change or needs to be fed, I can get alerts on those as well, allowing me to get a piece of mind during naps and bedtime when baby is asleep.
Then when it comes to the wearing of and caring of the onesies, I like that I can put pajamas or even a sleep sack over the onsie if I need to, to keep baby warm. I also like that when it comes to the cleaning, I can put the onsies in the washer then on low heat for drying. Making the Mimo Smart Baby Monitor not only a great product to have in the home when you have a baby, but also a great gift to give this holiday season for the new parents on your list!
