With the different shows that are out there to choose from, when it comes to finding fun shows to watch with the whole family, I like ones that are engaging, and ones that we will all enjoy together. One show that we were introduced to last year, that we found to be a lot of fun to watch with the family is, “Bet on Your Baby”.
The show, “Bet On Your Baby”, has 8 fun episodes, where toddlers ages 2-5, compete against themselves in fun activities and tasks!
Well not only are we excited that the great show, “Bet on Your Baby”, is back, but on June 14th 8-9 pm EDT, they will be having a very special guest and they will be featuring The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals! This very special guest will be a amazing young man named Josh Miller.
Josh is a very courageous 5 year old, who was born without tibiae in his legs. This young man has prosthetic legs, and in his short 5 years, he has endured multiple surgeries, which has included a heart surgery among many others. Josh is a kid who has touched many lives, raising money in 3 triathalons for the Challenged Athlete Foundation. During his surgeries, Josh and his family spent a lot of time at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, which is something my own family can relate to when we had our stays at our local Children’s Hospital for our son Robert.
With the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, they raise funds and awareness for the 170 hospital’s they have across North America. The donations that the CMN Hospitals receive, stay in the communities where the donations come from, and go to helping local children. These donations go to help with purchasing equipment, research, charitable care, and even to helping the kids in the hospitals with their educational needs.
Aside from local citizens who help with donations, Walmart has also been a huge contributor to the CMN Hospitals for 27 years, raising more than $700 million to help the local children’s hospitals provide the care the children need, regardless of the families ability to pay. With the CMN Hospitals, there are 32 million treatments, and 10 million kids treated each year, treating every child, even when the families do not have the ability to pay for the treatments, providing $3.4 billion in charitable care each year!
So this coming Saturday, June 14 at 8-9 pm EDT, be sure to tune in and watch Josh, as he competes in the hit show, Bet On Your Baby.
