Learning Resources Sentence Buildings

Like many other children out there that are in grade school and are learning how to write, my daughter needs a little help building her skills. This can be a very hard thing for kids to learn, it doesnt always come together like the teachers at school plan on them coming together for every kid, so to help your child succeed, you as a parent can find resources to help your kids succeed. My daughter has trouble with her sentence building. She can put sentences together just fine when she is speaking, but building sentences and putting them down on paper is a whole other story. I know that when I am looking for ways to help my kids with their academic skills. I look for fun ways to improve their skills and I have found that games that help with building their skills, not only help but make the learning fun at the same time. Recently I was sent the Sentence Buildings from Learning Resources. This is one of those games that I find to be genius. My mom is a English teacher, and when she first started teaching she started with elementary school. She is also a drama teacher and I loved the way she would incorporate improv with learning to make the learning process fun for the kids. This game reminds me of the games my mom used to create when she would teach the same sentence building skills to her students. This game includes all of the parts of speech that are needed for the building of sentences. This game includes nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, conjunctions, articles, prepositions, adverbs, and punctuation. Your kids can use a few of the buildings or as many as they want to build sentences. I also love that my daughter can play this game either with, me, her friends or by herself. So whether you are looking to help your kids build their sentence building skills or improve their sentence building skills then get them the Sentence Buildings!!
