I know that it seems like it was just yesterday, that I was a little girl, sitting in my living room watching one of my favorite television shows at the time, Jem And The Holograms! I know that like me, most of my friends loved this series as well, and instead of wanting to be like Hannah Montana, we wanted to be rock stars just like Jem And The Holograms!! Like Hannah Montana, Jem had a alter ego and her band the Holograms! They were everything we wanted to be like. So you can guess that when I was asked to review the new boxed set series that will release on October 11, I was all giddy about it. It brought me back, way back, lol!! The music is what really did it for me, I think that my kids looked at me like I was crazy when I started singing along to songs I hadnt heard since childhood. I still remembered parts of the episodes, which was great! I loved that my daughter enjoyed this set as well, and she sees her mom as being somewhat cool for liking such a retro cartoon series!! So why dont you go back in time and get the new dvd boxed set Jem And The Holograms: The Truly Outrageous Complete Series when it releases on October 11th!!!!!
