Something that makes my life easier is my mei tai baby carrier. It's so helpful. When my son was a newborn, I could nurse him in it and not be stuck sitting on the couch when he wanted to nurse pretty much around the clock, I can use it when we go out, and around the house when he wants to be held and I need to put laundry away or sweep the floor.
