As we prepare for this years holiday season, I like to take into consideration the items of interest when it comes to the recipients on my list. With the kids, I find it to be a lot easier, since there are certain characters or particular toy brands they like, and with Robert, one line of toys that he has adored since he was a toddler is Hot Wheels. Well recently, we were not only sent some great Hot Wheels toys, which I see as being hot items this holiday for those Hot Wheels fans on your list, but we were also sent the all new, Hot Wheels first animated feature, Team Hot Wheels: The Origin of Awesome on DVD to review!
We found this movie to bring Robert and Wyatt’s love for those fun collectible cars and racing sets, to a whole new level! The boys loved being able to race their own cars in their room on their new tracks, as they watched the movie.
In this new movie, you find a group of 4 kids, who are looking to make their boring lives a bit more exciting in their town, which is considered to be the slowest town in the world. These kids find that they are born to drive in the fast lane, by themselves they are fast and great drivers, but together as a team, they are Team Hot Wheels!
Aside from the skills and the racing this team has, they find themselves needing to save their town, after a black car shows up. This black car is not just any black car, it is a car that creates a very cool and challenging orange track wherever it goes, along with some monsters that cause a lot of havoc. Find out how Team Hot Wheels comes together to try to save their town, and watch as they go on some amazing adventures together, when you head out today and bring home your copy on DVD to share with your Hot Wheels fans! Also be sure to stock up on the hottest products from Hot Wheels as you head out for that holiday shopping this year!
Product received, thank you to Mattel and the PR group for supplying me with a product for this review, all opinions are my own.
How cute, I didn't realize there was more to Hot Whees (like a back-story); that's so cool.
Hot Wheels has come a long way! I remember when they first came out and they are still fun to play with!
