Being a mom blogger, running my own business, and working from home, I have found this book to be a great read. I can really appreciate the work and mom life balance that the author discusses, showing how moms can be moms and still have a career that they enjoy. The information that is in this book comes together and gives you a guide that both working moms and stay at home moms can really benefit from. Giving you steps that moms can take so that they can make both the career and home life by finding that career that you find to be rewarding and ideal when it comes to also being a mom, going from the full time career mom to the part time career and full time mom.
I like that the author, is a woman who has been there, one who is a mother and a former business executive and now a self employed writer. Giving me and other readers a way to connect with the points and also really find the information to be useful. I also found that aside from the personal story that the author shares, that the other stories from the other mothers which she interviewed, who are also in similar situations, share their stories as well. Allowing the reader to find which scenario from the various stories of women might work for them, and also finding themselves being able to relate to the women that the stories are about.
Then when it comes to who this book would make a great fit for, well I find that it would make for a great read for both moms and dads, new and expecting parents, or even those who are planning on finding ways to be home more and still be able to balance the home and work life. I think this would be an interesting gift for my sis in law. She is struggling with the thought of going back to work after my niece was born. She doesn't have to work but she really needs to get out of the house and have some adult time. So, she was thinking about working but she feels really guilty.
