The summer is upon us, and the back to school season is just around the corner for my family, and with that comes not only the days spent at the beach, but the time to stock up on the items the kids will need for the upcoming school year. As in many homes across the country, we try to find ways to decrease our carbon footprint on the planet. And as a parent, we teach our children by example. Like when we head out for a day at the beach or a camping trip, we show our kids that whatever we pack in, we also pack out, leaving the area we were in just as it was before we got there. We also show our kids ways to decrease the amount of trash we have, by using reusable containers which includes reusable water bottles. So when we were sent some of the bottles from the Glasstic line of products, I was excited to not only add them to our list of summer must haves, but also to the list of back to school products.
I like that with the Glasstic Water Bottles, I can use them for myself as well as give them to my kids because they are shatterproof glass water bottles. I also like that we can take these bottles to places where we would not typically take glass products, like the beach or even like packing them in the school lunches, because the bottles are durable, are double walled, and are even leak proof.
When it comes to what we can put in our Glasstic bottles, I like that I can put fruit infused waters inside for the kids to enjoy at lunch time, my favorite tea, coffee and more! Then when it comes to what my kids find to be a important aspect, we like that there are a variety of designs and colors to choose from. Because I love having a bottle of water at the ready and at least one to switch out when the other is being cleaned/dried, I'd definitely pick the 3 pack choice! I also think it would be really nice to have a custom one…I could potentially 'advertise' the blog or other community ventures I'm involved with that way 🙂
