#Giveaway Prepping The Holiday Meals With Epicurean And Joseph Joseph

Ah, the holiday season is quickly approaching and with only about a month until Thanksgiving, getting the gadgets to help make my menu go off without a hitch is priority. I mean, there is only about a month until the big turkey day, and since we cook not only for our family but also for the local Ronald McDonald House, having the tools we will be needing to get everything on our menus done is ideal. One of my favorite dishes that I not only make for Thanksgiving, but also for Christmas dinner, that my kids beg for, is homemade cheese potato casserole. It is a fairly simple side dish, but with all of the people we have to cook for, I am not going to just be making one or two casseroles, I will be making several. For this dish, I need a large pot to boil potatoes in, milk, butter, cheese, garlic powder, salt and the casserole dishes. Once my potatoes are boiled, I cut them up in cube sized pieces, then in a blender, I blend milk, butter, salt, garlic powder and the grated cheese. I then place the cut potato pieces in the casserole dish, or in my case, dishes, then pour the mixture I have on the top of the potatoes, then place in the oven for about 20 minutes. Since I will be making several of these potato casseroles at once for Thanksgiving, I need a really good cheese grater, and since we will be fairly crowded in both my kitchen and the one at The Ronald McDonald House, I need kitchen items that can be stored away and not take up too much space when I am not using them. So when I was sent the Joseph Joseph Fold-flat Grater Plus for review, I was pretty excited. I mean, when we are transporting our items to use this year and years to come for that matter, to the Ronald McDonald House, having this grater, that folds away and does not take up too much space, is very ideal. It is also so easy to use. To grate, you just unclip the locking catch, then push the corners into place, to get a box grater. Aside from the ease of putting into place, you also get 4 styles of blade in one. This also allows you to grate a number of items, aside from cheese. Another feature that I appreciate is the handle, which helps me control the grating that I need to do. In all, I have found the Joseph Joseph Fold-flat Grater Plus to be an amazing kitchen gadget, that will really come in handy this holiday season!

Then to help with my chopping needs this holiday season, which includes all of the potatoes that I will need to chop for the cheese potato casserole, is a cutting board. Having a great cutting board to use in the kitchen over this holiday season is a must have. I mean, I need cutting boards for a number of items that I will be needing to cut and chop up, and that will last. To help me with my cutting and chopping, I was sent a Gourmet Cutting Board from Epicurean. I really appreciate that this cutting board is thicker than others I have used in the past, which is ideal for all of the cooking we will be doing on Thanksgiving. I also like the juice groove that runs along the side of this cutting board, which in all, will help me with ensuring this Thanksgiving and Christmas will go off without a hitch! Well to help in your kitchens this holiday season, the wonderful people from Joseph Joseph and Epicurean would like to give one of my amazing readers the same products I was sent for review!

I really am needing the Twist™ Whisk in my kitchen. I don't have a whisk and all the uses of a fork only work partially compared to a whisk.
