With the new school season in full swing, I find that our days are filled with more when it comes to our already busy schedules. Like many other parents out there, we find that creating those menus each week for our families, as well as grocery shopping, can take even more time out of our schedules, so finding ways to save time when it comes to meals and shopping for my family is something I aim for. Recently I was given the chance to do a review for Schwan’s by having a home shopping experience from the ordering to the delivery provided to me.
Like many, I have seen the Schwan’s delivery trucks in my neighborhood, but never really took the time to look into their service and products. I was not only shocked to see that I can get all of our meats, sides, fruits and vegetables, breads, desserts, and even fruit juices from the Schwan’s delivery, but I can find a great selection of farm raised, organic, and gluten free products, all at amazing prices!
The set up for a home delivery is very easy, I found that I can not only do my menu planning, but as I plan out those weekly menus, I can shop right from home online, then place my order, to have it delivered right to my doorstep on the next delivery date. Another plus about utilizing their online catalog is I was able to find some great recipe ideas, which really comes in handy when menu planning!
When our order was delivered, we found that we really like how friendly and knowledgeable the Schwan’s delivery drivers are, not only did they bring my order to me, but I was able to also go to their truck and shop for even more items that they had available. When we went out to the truck, we were shown the fish varieties, along with the meats, and shown some vegetables that pair well with those items.

Also, just like when we go to the grocery store to shop, our delivery driver, was able to show us the meats, so we could see the quality for ourselves before we bought it. Oh, and for those who not only like to find ways to save time but also money, we not only found some great money saving offers and even free bonus vegetables with our first order by placing our order online, but our delivery man was able to give us other money saving offers that he had available to share with his customers.
Well, once we had done our shopping, and both my husband and I were able to see the benefits of saving time and money by shopping from home with Schwan’s, we knew the next step would be the taste test. We found, with the foods we bought, we were able to not only cook and serve full well balanced meals for the family, but the foods were all very tasty and the kids enjoyed the foods as well! Making Schwan’s a new way for us to shop in our house!
