#Giveaway Holiday Gift Ideas: Indoor Fun with the Colossal Fort Kit from Toydle

When it comes to the kids and keeping them busy even when the weather is not so favorable, I find that I like to seek out the activities that we can all take part in indoors. I have found that more times than not, when it comes to the fall and winter months in the Pacific Northwest, that the rainy season is inevitable. So when we were sent the Colossal Fort Kid from Toydle to review, I was curious to see how it would work and also see what my kids would think about it as well as add it to our list of great gift ideas to give this holiday season!

Once we got the pieces out of the box and spread them out on the floor, the kids were excited to begin building. We went on the Toydle site to get ideas on how to build our fort by watching some of the videos they had on their YouTube. After the we got an idea on how we would put our fort together, it was time to start building. I was very pleased to see my kids working together as we put a fun indoor fort together, piece by piece.

We found that the various pieces could go together in a number of ways and that they also went together nicely, allowing the kids to put the poles in the blocks as they went along to secure the various angles they built. After they got their fort to where they wanted it, they then put blankets on it to give it that fun playhouse feel. We used blankets that we had in a closet and were able to secure them in place with the clamps that came with our kit. And once the fort was up and ready to be used, the kids took full advantage of it! We had set up the fort in the family room, and allowed the kids to have the opening face the television, giving them a fun way to watch a movie and play together while it was raining outside.

Then when they decided to take down their fort, we were able to put the pieces away in a carrying bag that came with the poles. I also noticed that throughout the process of both putting up the fort and taking it down, that all of the poles remained in tact, which is a huge plus. The poles did not bend either, which will allow us to be able to use our Colossal Fort Kit over and over again. Making the Colossal Fort Kit from Toydle a great product to have in any home and also a great gift to give this holiday season!
