With the holidays coming, there is quite a bit of prep that needs to be done, like the menu. There are so many sides that we go with every year, and I personally like to go with fresh ingredients. With all of the cooking that goes on in the kitchen, I think it is nice to find foods that I know everyone will enjoy, that are good for everyone, and that are quick and easy to prepare. Recently I was sent a great pack of swag from Green Giant, which also included a bag of Green Giant Seasoned Steamers and a coupon so that I could try another bag of the amazing Green Giant Seasoned Steamers. Since receiving the pack with the bowl, serving spoon, apron and steamers pack, we have decided to try out the other Green Giant Seasoned Steamers so that we could figure out which ones we wanted to add to our menu this holiday season. In order to pick a couple of the steamers to use, we had to try them all then get the opinions of the kids as well so that we could have our winners. Let me tell you, it was not a easy choice. We decided that we would add two of the new Green Giant Seasoned Steamers to our menu, and choosing only two was more of a task than we imagined, because everyone seemed to like all of the different seasoned steamers. After trying the six different ones and putting in mind that these would be part of our menu for the holiday meals, we chose to go with the Honey Dijon Carrots and the Backyard Grilled Potatoes. We thought that these two had flavors that would be great fits, but when it comes down to it, any of the six seasoned steamers would make for a great side with your meals!
