When it comes to having a new baby in the home, we find that we not only need to prepare our own homes for baby, but we also need to help others, like our parents so they can welcome their grandchild into their home as well. I know for me, when it comes to my parents home, it is not set up to be kid friendly. They have rooms that have plenty of breakable items, as well as stairs in two different areas of the house. So as a parent, I want to ensure that when my kids are visiting their grandparents, my parents can be ready for them and have their house ready as well. And one line of safety products we have in our home that we find makes a great fit for my parents home is the products from Dreambaby®.
To get started when it comes to making my parents home grand child friendly, we found the Dreambaby® Adhesive Mag Lock® to be great for putting on the cabinets around their home. The locks are simple to set up with the adhesive strips that are on the backs of them. They are also very simple to use. Once they are on the cabinets they lock so the kids can not open the doors, and to unlock the cabinets, all you have to do is place the magnetic key on the other side of the door, then open the door.
When it comes to the stairs in my parents home, and also when it comes to keeping little ones out of rooms that might have items in that they do not want the kids messing with, we found the Dreambaby® Liberty Tall Security Gate to be exactly what they needed! I like that with this gate, it is simple to install then once the kids leave, my parents can take the gate down and put it away until they need to have it up again! They can also use this gate for their dog, helping to keep her out of certain rooms if needed.
Then when the grandparents head out with the kids, and have my toddler in tow. They can keep him safe, even when he wants to climb out of his highchair or stroller with the Dreambaby® Safety Harness and Reins. This harness is great for not only using when they are out and about walking, but also for when they are eating at the table, or when they have him in his stroller. The reigns are simple to attach to the seats allowing my toddler to still move around, but keeping him from getting out of his seat and potentially getting hurt from falling.
