When it comes to dinner time in my house, well we love to keep our options open. We may be land locked here in the Texas Panhandle, but in my house, we love our seafood! Now, when I go shopping for items to cook for dinner, I am picky. I want to serve my family food that not only will the kids like, but also food that we can all enjoy and that provides healthy options for everyone. Like when we are planning on having seafood for dinner, we know that we are not going to be able to get that fresh seaside fish, but I also know that I do not have to sacrifice taste when we get the frozen seafood. One brand of seafood that I can remember eating when I was a kid, and that I enjoy sharing with my own kids is Gorton’s. I mean, not only can we get the kids those fish sticks that they enjoy, but we can also find a great variety of other fish from the grilled fillets to the bear battered fish, that my husband and I enjoy. In fact, we can even get some great shrimp and even clams if I want from the Gorton’s Seafood family of products. Knowing that I can get the seafood we are craving from a brand that we have trusted and that our parents trusted and so on, is very comforting and satisfying. Recently I was sent a gift pack filled with goodies, that included a really neat Gorton’s Seafood branded ship wheel key chain, to some coupons to use towards some purchases of Gorton’s Seafood and some great recipes to go along with the products I purchase! One of the things that really stood out for my husband and my kids was the Fish Sandwich BLT. We found that making some fish sandwiches made for a great lunch over the weekend.

Then with the kids favorite, the Tilapia Fish Sticks, we found that putting some of these in the oven on a busy weekday night, was the way to go. I mean, when I serve the fish sticks, I can put them in the oven, prepare some great sides, then bam, dinner is ready and not only does it not take a whole lot of time, but my family can eat a great, tasty meal. With the Tilapia Fish Sticks from Gorton’s, I know that there is no MSG and that my family is also getting all natural Omega-3’s!

I also like that the fish sticks are bigger than others and we all like the extra crunch you get with every bite! Well to help with dinner at your house, the wonderful people from Gorton’s would like to give one of my amazing readers a prize pack filled with some great gifts from Gorton’s Seafood!! Also now through October 18th, you can enter the Gorton’s Wicked Seafood Sweepstakes and dont forget to get your coupons as well!
