The summer break has begun for my kids, and is just around the corner for others. So with that in mind, I have found that ensuring the kids stay busy with the summer vacations, camps and even the summer learning, will not only keep them busy over the summer, but will also help to make their summer a memorable one and help us combat summer brain drain. One of the things my kids have been talking about, and are excited to take part in this summer is Brain Chase.
They are all signed up, have been watching the clips and are counting down the days for this years chase to begin. Now like many others out there, we have vacations and camps set up for our kids, so knowing that even when the kids are away for a few days or even a week, and miss the challenges that they were given for the week, they can get caught up very easily. I like knowing that we can continue on with our plans, and as long as the kids complete their 5 hours a week for the challenges each week during the 5 week chase, they can continue to keep up and have their chance at finding the hidden treasure.
With Brain Chase, they understand that yes, there are many families who have plans and that is okay, because even when we are on vacation, and we stay somewhere where we can get internet access, the kids can login, and stay up to date. Giving them not only the flexibility when it comes to the knowledge they can gain from the challenges alone, but also allowing them to enjoy their vacation time as well. And say we go on vacation for a week here, then head for another week there during the time the chase is on, my kids can get caught up on their own time, and at their own pace, by picking and choosing which missions to complete first then go from there.
Then when we get back from our vacation, and we find that there is some downtime in between activities we have planned, we can keep the kids going by exercising their minds, making it so they can supplement any time they have with a fun learning adventure! Oh, and for those who are not already signed up, there is still time, even if you have other activities planned for the kids, there is still time to sign up and join the chase. Because it is not just another online learning center, in fact it is nothing like any other online learning adventure out there for kids ages 6-16, since they not only participate in a 5 week curriculum filled with learning adventures, but they can get the chance participate in a real life treasure hunt, where the treasure is a $10,000 scholarship that is buried somewhere on planet Earth!
In all, making Brain Chase a must have to add to the list of summer activities for the kids and even for the whole family! And to help with getting your kids ready for the big chase, the wonderful people from Brain Chase would like to give one of my amazing readers one Brain Chase registration code to use for a free sign up to the big chase and for the chance to win $10,000!
This post was brought to you by the people from Brain Chase. I was chosen to participate in this sponsored post through The Motherhood, all opinions are my own.
