#Giveaway #RC Cuisinart Baby Food Maker & Bottle Warmer Homemade Goodness for Baby!! CLOSED!

Can you believe it? Wyatt is already 5 months old, and it seems that everyday we are hitting new milestones with him. We have teeth, yes, teeth! We are sitting up, by ourselves for a few minutes at a time, and we are now eating foods! It is amazing on how fast things go with a baby, but with each new milestone that we reach, there are things that I want to do for my Wyatt to ensure that he gets the best out of everything. I know that when my husband and I make our baby food at home, we know exactly what goes into it. Recently I was sent the Cuisinart Baby Food Maker & Bottle Warmer to use to make Wyatt’s baby food and review. I have tried some baby food makers in the past and I love that the Cuisinart Baby Food Maker & Bottle Warmer is different than the others.

With this baby food maker, I can do all of the cooking without having to take separate steps in order to get the food made. The only steps I need to take ahead of time is if I am going to make fruits or vegetables in the food maker, I just need to wash them and cut out any seeds. Other than that, that is all the prep work I need to do. The rest is all done, from the chopping to the puree to the steaming. I love that once the food is ready to be steamed, the bowl is secured enough to where it does not spit any of the food out when it is steaming or when it is chopping and pureeing. I also really like that when I am pouring the food into the containers for storage, I do not have to worry about the blade coming off due to the Bladelock System that keeps the blade in place while I pour. With the 4 cup bowl, I can make enough food to have leftovers to feed Wyatt for a few days! Another great feature that really comes in handy is the bottle warmer, which is easy to set up and heats up the bottle to the perfect temp! In all I love the Cuisinart Baby Food Maker & Bottle Warmer for the fact that I know what my baby is eating and I can make healthy foods for him, that it makes making homemade baby food simple for parents, that I can warm bottles, and that when I make Wyatt’s baby food from home we can save money! When you get a Cuisinart Baby Food Maker & Bottle Warmer, you not only get the baby food maker and bottle warmer, but you also get a spatula which helps get all of the food out of the bowl, and a recipe book which has some amazing baby food recipes for parents to try out! Here is one that I found, on the Cuisinart site, to be a great healthy recipe for baby, its called Green and Sweets:

Ingredients

1          cup peeled and sliced parsnips

1          cup sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into ½- to 1-inch pieces

½         cup parsley, hard stems discarded

½         cup shredded kale

225      ml water

Instructions

Put the parsnips, sweet potatoes, parsley and kale into the work bowl fitted with the steam blade and cover bowl with lid. Add the water to the steam/bottle warming chamber and set the measuring cup in its place. Close the lid to lock and then turn the dial to steam. Once the light goes out indicating the steaming is complete, turn the dial to chop. Pulse about 10 times to break up, scraping if necessary, and then process continuously until completely smooth, about 20 to 30 seconds. Allow to cool before serving. If not using immediately, refrigerate for up to three days or freeze in individual portions for convenience.

Well, since we are going on a new journey with Wyatt, trying out new baby foods and making them at home, the wonderful people from Cuisinart would like to be included in your little ones journey of trying and eating homemade baby foods, by offering one of my amazing readers their own Cuisinart Baby Food Maker & Bottle Warmer!!
