#Giveaway Be Prepared For Baby with Philips Avent (3 Winners!)

As parents, we find that when it comes to time to be prepared for a new baby, there are so many things that we need to have in place. The list that we start from the time we first find out we are going to be adding to the family, grows as the time for bringing baby home gets closer. And by the time we are ready to bring baby home, we find that the list that we had thought would be a simple little list, becomes one that can be somewhat overwhelming. So knowing that I can turn to companies like Philips Avent, when it comes to having the items in place that will help with caring for baby, helps to make bringing home baby a little easier on everyone! Recently I was sent a great care pack of products from Philips Avent, that are ideal for having in place when you are ready to bring baby home.

To get started, I found the selection of bottles from the Philips Avent Natural line to be a great selection of bottles to go with, especially for those who are wanting to both breast feed and bottle feed! For me, I have always found that having both options available for feeding helps to not only allow me to get a break in between breastfeeding, but also helps so other family members can have the chance to bond with baby by feeding with a bottle. I like that with the Avent Natural Bottles, they have a innovative petal design on the nipples, which are designed to mimic the breast, giving baby a natural latch and making the transition from breast to bottle and back a easy one for everyone!

With the Philips Avent Comfort Double Electric Breast Pump, you get a breast pump that is comfortable to use, which in hand helps to relax mom and allows the milk to flow easier. I like that with this pump that you do not need to lean forward, instead you can relax while it is pumping. As it pumps, the soft massaging cushion helps to gently stimulate the milk flow. There are 3 settings on this pump, that allow you to choose the right setting, which helps to make pumping more comfortable as well. Another plus that I like about the Philips Avent Comfort Double Electric Breast Pump is that I can use the Avent Natural bottles on this pump, allowing me to pump into the bottles making them ready to feed baby with!

Then when it comes to putting parents at ease when it comes to a sleeping baby, I was sent the Philips Avent DECT Baby Monitor. With this baby monitor you get to stay connected and not only listen and use the talk back mode when baby is in their room, but you can also monitor the room temperature as baby sleeps. The temperature sensor allows parents to monitor the temperature in their babies room, so if the temperature changes, parents can go in and adjust the temperature since babies can not regulate their own body temps and can become restless if the temperature changes.

Other great features of this monitor include the Smart ECO mode, which allows the monitor to automatically minimize the power it is using when you are closer to baby, which helps to increase the battery life. There are lights on the monitor that are activated when sound is detected in your babies room, and the lights continue to detect sound even when the parental unit is muted. Then when baby wakes up and needs to be lulled back to sleep, you can turn on the comforting night light and lullabies! In all making these products from the Philips Avent line, a great selection to have on hand when you are preparing to bring baby home! And to help with preparing for the baby in your home, the wonderful people from Philips Avent would like to give 3 of my amazing readers their own pack of Avent products for baby!

I believe baby necessities are a good monitor, tons of diapers, and a baby carrier for those days when you're little one won't let you put her down.

I think a necessity, when it comes to being prepared for baby, is to not only have all of the items you need (Diapers, bottles, crib, clothes, etc.) is also just making sure that you are prepared, and ready as well. I'm about to have my first baby next month, and I have done a lot of mental preparing, too. I can't wait to see my little girl : )
