In honor of World Breastfeeding Week, I was sent some great breastfeeding support products for breastfeeding moms from Bamboobies! Now I have used the Bamboobies Nursing Pads in the past, and my experience with them was amazing. I like that not only do they provide comfort and dryness for a nursing mother, but they are also machine washable, so they can be reused over and over again! I also like that they are soft, and thin, so when they are being worn, they do not rub on sensitive nipples, and they also do not make the fact that you are wearing breast pads, noticeable, like other nursing pads might do.
Another great plus about the Bamboobies Nursing Pads is that when they are washed, they get softer and softer, and they are still able to soak up any leaking milk, keeping moms clothes dry and clear of any embarrassing boob leaks that can occur in between feedings.
Aside from the Bamboobies Nursing Pads, I was also sent a Bamboobies Brahhh, which is not only soft and comfortable to wear during the day and even at night, but it also provides breastfeeding moms with that support they need. I like that this bra is made to adjust to your body, so when the breasts are filled with milk, they provide support, and when you start loosing that pregnancy weight, they adjust to continue to provide support and comfort and can be used for both pregnancy and breastfeeding! The bra is made from organic cotton, bamboo and spandex, and with no annoying clasps to cause irritations or get in the way, I find this bra to be a great one for any pregnant or nursing mommy!
Then with the Chic Nursing Shawl, I like that I can have both style and a nursing cover all in one, for when I am nursing in public. I like the light weight material and the stylish design, so I can wear it as a stylist shawl, and no one will know the difference. I also like that with the bra, this shawl is made from organic cotton and bamboo, and it is hand sewn, so it will fit any shape, and form to fit as a new moms body changes. In nursing, comfort, ease of use and style really do matter. It's important for a mom to feel like she looks good but function comes first, which often finds us in frumpy mom ofnyester-year clothes. I've heard nothing but good things about bamboobies and wish I had known about them sooner. The nursing bra I selected not only lacks support but lacks coverage in the nipple area, and the plastic tabs continually fall off, so the bra and overnight pads would be extremely helpful, as the disposable pads irritate my already sore nipples.
