Over the summer months, I like to find activities to keep the kids busy, keep them from getting bored, and also keep those amazing little minds going. One thing that I enjoy finding are creative classes and workshops locally, that are both fun and engaging for the kids to attend and participate in! Recently I was introduced to such class, when I was told about the Passport to Imagination classes that are offered by one of my favorite craft supply stores, Michael’s!
When I went online to check out the local classes and times, I saw that these classes were just meant to be, since the next one that was available in our area was the Dinosaur Skeleton, Design a Dinosaur class! Robert loves dinosaurs, and since he was able to walk, he has been fascinated with anything that has to do with dinosaurs. So you can guess, that when Robert arrived to his first class at Michael’s Passport to Imagination, he was beyond excited and thrilled to be there!
The sign up process was very easy to do online, and at just $2 per kid, it is a very affordable 2 hour class! In those 2 hours, not only was Robert engaged the entire time with the activities they had to offer, but it gives parents that time to do some shopping for some great crafting projects to take home and do on a later date this summer with the kids!
Robert enjoyed getting his passport for the summer, so for each of his classes, he can not only engage in the fun arts and crafts, but he can also get another stamp in his passport, so when the summer is over, he can look back on all of the fun activities he did while at the Passport to Imagination classes at Michael’s! So if you are looking for something fun to do with the kids, that will give you 2 hours of time to shop or whatever else, and you have kids age 5 and up, head on over to the classes section on the Michael’s website and sign your kids up today!
