I don’t know about you but with the month of October upon us, I find that I get excited. I say that because I enjoy the holiday season. I enjoy the decorating, baking, and the holiday gatherings, and I see October as the kick off for the holidays with Halloween being the start of the season. For those Halloween decor ideas for both the home and for those parties, I like to head to places like Oriental Trading, where I can find the table settings, decor, and even treats I need to help bring those parties together. So when I was given the chance to check out some of the selections of Halloween themed products they had to review from Oriental Trading, I was excited to get started!
I found that I was able to get my list out of what we would be needing to set up a party for our kids then find the items on that list, all in one place. To get started I went with some of the basics that included a Halloween themed table cloth, and some tableware. For the tableware I went with some orange napkins and plates, black forks, then some fun Boo Bunch Halloween Mugs! The mugs are going to be perfect for having out for the kids to use not only for their drinks but then for taking their treats home in after the party! Another fun item that I found for our Halloween table set up was the Zombie Hand Napkin Holder, which will help to give our table a great spooky look to it.
Then when it came to finding those treats and goodies to give out to our party guests, I was very pleased to find a great selection of candies and novelty items. For the candy assortment we chose to go with some Jelly-Filled Marshmallows that look like eyeballs, some Pumpkin Guts Cotton Candy, some M&M’s, and some Crayola Color Your Mouth Taffy! I found that this assortment is a great selection to go with giving us a little something for everyone to enjoy at our Halloween party this year. I also chose to add some Mini Halloween Flashlights in our assortment for the kids to take home after our party and to use on Halloween night when they head out to do some trick or treating. And when it came to finding a large bowl to hold all of the goodies in on the table so guests can help themselves to the treats, I was able to get that as well by getting the Peanuts Halloween Bowl! Which when it all came together, I found the selection to be exactly what I was looking for, for this years Halloween party! Yeah I know about Party Supplies from Oriental Trading. They have great stuff and rental prices are also affordable. I had hosted rustic bridal shower at a venue Houston for a friend and had hired their party supplies. They looked great and came in my budget.
