In my home, we enjoy our story times. The story times can happen any time of the day that we see fit, but we especially enjoy a good book before naps and bedtime! As with each of my kids, when it comes to story time, we allow them to choose which books we will read together. With Wyatt, he enjoys the stories that his older brother and sister pick out, but ever since he was about 8 months old, he has also wanted to contribute to the stories we read by picking out books of his own.
Recently we were sent a great selection of books for Wyatt and I to read, and for Wyatt to add to story times in our home from DK Books! Wyatt is a huge fan of trucks, dinosaurs, and animals, so with this selection of books, Wyatt found a little of everything that he enjoys. We also like that like other books that Wyatt is fond of, these books offer chances for Wyatt to interact with the books, with touch and feel books, as well as lots of great pictures that he recognizes and can tell me what they are! Wyatt also finds the pop up books, like the Bedtime Pop-Up Peekaboo book, which is one of his favorite bedtime stories!
Then with the book that is all about dinosaurs, Touch and Feel: Dinosaurs, Wyatt and I can explore fun things about dinosaurs, and he can feel the different textures, including his favorite, the sticky T-Rex tongue that is at the end of the book! Making the selection of books from DK Books a great selection for the little one in your life!
