Fathers Day is just around the corner and it is time to find those gifts to get dad this year. Like many dads out there, my husband loves to fish. He enjoys spending his weekends on the water, and when it comes to finding gifts to get him for Fathers Day, I have found that fishing gifts can be exactly what he wants. So when we were sent the Flip Reel from Eartheasy to review, I was very excited to learn more about this reel and also add it to my list of great gift ideas for dad.
With the Flip Reel, you get a fishing tool that is not only compact, making it a great tool to pack in when you are hiking to that prime fishing spot, but it is also simple to use. The Flip Reel can be used by both adults and kids, and allows you to get up close to the fish when you catch one! I also like that with the Flip Reel and its size you can store it in the car, in a tackle box and more because not only is it compact when you are using it but when you are not using it, you can fold it into half its size.
Then when it comes to all you can get I like that the Flip Reel comes with a 165ft of 17lb line, small hook and sinker. Making the Flip Reel a great gift to get dad this Fathers Day!

This is a really nice Flipp Reel that looks easy to use, even for me. I am not very good at fishing, but this would be great for my husband!
This reminds me of the reel that I started out fishing with, my older brother had gotten for me, and would take me fishing with him.
I think it is a good tool for those beginning fishing and especially kids, but it take the fun out of fishing since it does not use a rod and one does not learn the art of casting, which is a skill and what makes fishing a sport.
