When we prepare to bring a new baby home, there are so many things we head out to get so that everything can be ready for baby. After taking the Diaper Genie out of the box, I right away found myself excited to check out the different fabric sleeves and find the one I want to start out with. I was impressed to see how each of the 5 sleeves has its own design and colors, which are ones that go with many of the nursery themes and colors that you can find when you head out to decorate your nursery space. I also like that the fabric is durable which allows me to change the sleeves up over and over again. In fact, I found that when it comes to the durability, I liked that I was able to wash the covers in the washing machine and use them again and again if needed! I found that putting the fabric sleeves on was very simple, they are snug but they fit on the Diaper Genie nicely and are designed with elastic bands on the tops and bottoms so they fit on the ledges and do not get in the way of the operating of the diaper pail.

After finding the cover that was right for the nursery space, I was ready to then check out this Diaper Genie and learn more about it. Aside from the customizable feature that allows me to not only utilize the included fabric sleeves but also purchase more from the line up, I can really appreciate that the Diaper Genie is very simple to operate and gives parents and caregivers one handed operation if needed. This is important to me because it allows me to set up the Diaper Genie next to the changing table, and when I need to change baby, I can keep one hand on baby and use the other to push the button on the top to open and put the dirty diaper in then close, all with one hand!

Then when it comes to the other features that help to make the choice to go with this Diaper Genie a simple one, I like that it has maximum odor control, which is possible with the Push-N-Lock clamp that gives you a double secure odor lock! When it comes to other ways to keep the odor in the pail, I like that the bags that are exclusive to the Diaper Genie line up are ones that have 7 layers, which provide the Barrier Technology that helps to lock in germs and odors as well. And when it comes to the changing out of the bags, I like that I can put up to 50 newborn diapers in this Diaper Genie, which can quickly add up when you have a newborn. This not only saves you time since you do not have to constantly take the bags out, but when you do have to replace the bags, the system is made to make that a simple task for parents as well. Which all together, makes the Diaper Genie Expressions a great choice to go with when you are preparing for baby and seeking out a diaper pail that can also allow you to express your nursery style and more!
