School is back in session and with that we find that we are getting back into those routines, the ones that start first thing in the morning. In my house, when it comes to getting my kids up and ready for school, I like to start their days off right with breakfast. So as we prepare for the kids to head back to school, I head to my local Walmart, where my kids can pick out their favorite cereals that they can eat in the mornings before heading to school.
I like that when we head to Walmart, we can find those cereals along with other everyday purchases for our home, that not only go to insuring we are stocked up on those everyday household goods, but also so we are stocked up on the foods the whole family can enjoy. Allowing me to get those breakfast cereals along with other items from the General Mills line that include the Betty Crocker Scooby-Doo Fruit Snacks that are great for putting in school lunches, and the dinner items like the Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Macaroni that makes for a great dinner that I know everyone will eat.
In fact, when it comes to the various items I can get when we shop the General Mills line, I like that I can turn something as basic as a cup of Yoplait Yogurt and some cereal, into a fun and delicious after school snack for the kids by mixing some of their favorite cereals into their yogurt! I also like that for our Taco Tuesdays, we can get some Old El PasoTM Stand ‘n StuffTM Mini Tortillas, then set up a taco bar for everyone to go to and create their own taco dishes, and enjoy while we have a family game night!
Then when it comes to other important benefits of incorporating the General Mills products into the menus for my family, I like when I shop those everyday products from the General Mills line that we not only use for breakfast but for every meal in my house is that we can also turn those purchases into money for our kids school by saving the Box Tops for Education tabs that are found on the packages! In all, making the selections that can be found from the General Mills line at Walmart not only great for helping to create those menus in our home, but also a great choice since we can also help the schools when we save the box tops from our purchases!
