I am a child of the 80’s and like most children of the 80’s, I grew up loving that out of this world movie, E.T. To think that Drew Barrymore was a kid herself when this movie was made. Well come next Tuesday, E.T. will be available to bring home for the first time on Blu-Ray!!! E.T. is one of those movies that I adored as a kid and now that I have my own kids, I can share this fave of mine with them. I was sent the Anniversary Edition of E.T. on Blu-Ray to review, and not only did I get to watch and share one of my all time favorite movies with my kids, but I got to watch all of those deleted scenes that I had never before seen. I also got to watch and share all of the other bonus features that are in this Anniversary Edition Blu-Ray, which include a reunion of the cast and filmmaker, the idea of the movie where they explore how they came up with the movie and the casting of the movie! I also loved watching and sharing the original theatrical trailer with my kids. Aside from the great bonus features that are included on the Blu-Ray, I also loved how clear the picture was, compared to what we saw when we were kids, and the sound quality is way different as well, which makes owning the new Blu-Ray a new experience even for those who have seen E.T. a thousand times in their life like I have! Sharing E.T. with the kids made for a great and fun family movie night and we have officially turned our kids into E.T. fans as well! You can add E.T. to your family movie night by heading out on Tuesday and bringing your copy home!

I would love to see E.T. on blu-ray! Such a classic!
I remember going to the theater to see ET. I have to put this on my lit of possible purchases.
ET was one of the first movies I saw with my husband.
I thought the interviews with the cast was neat.
