Fathers Day is here and if your dad or the dad in your life is anything like my husband, then tech items are the way to his heart, lol. My husband is like a big kid when it comes to tech items, and with him in school, computers make the perfect gift for my husband. So for me, I think to myself, what is better than just a computer for my husband? What about a MacBook Air? We love Apple products in our house, from the music players to the iPad, and now we have a love for the MacBook that we have added to our list of Apple love!! With my husband being the techie in our house, when it comes to really taking a look at items that I review, I turn to him. Well since we are celebrating Fathers Day, I thought that Fathers Day would be the perfect day for my husband to play with and look over the MacBook Air that we were sent for review! First of all, since my husband is a full time student, he carries quite a bit of books around campus during the day, and in the classes where having a computer in class is a must have, the MacBook Air not only meets the requirements as far as equipment needed for class, but since this amazing computer is so light, it does not add a whole lot to his load of books and supplies that he totes around with him everyday! It also does not take up a whole lot of room in his book bag which has a built in laptop compartment! I love how sleek the design is and I also love how light it is, it is no thicker than one of his smaller notebooks.
On top of the obvious features that you can see from just looking at the amazing MacBook Air, you have the innards which are amazing not in only what they can do, but also for the amount of power that is packed into this sleek looking machine! My husband loves to play games online, and with the Intel Core i5 Processor, the memory that is available on the one little chip, is amazing and makes for some amazing game play that my husband loves! The graphics that he gets with the performance make this the computer that my husband has deemed he cant live with out, lol! I love the battery life you get with the MacBook Air, because it really comes in handy while my husband is doing school work online, that way he doesnt have to worry about having to look for a plug while he is in the middle of a lesson! This notebook is also 4 times faster than your average notebook, which is really handy while he is trying to follow along with his professors!! He can also wait until it is time to get on his laptop in class, by just opening it right up and the MacBook Air being ready to go! With the WiFi built in, it makes it easy for him to pick up connections where ever he goes, where there is a WiFi network available! Even though my husband is not huge on using the camera, which I love, the camera that is built in makes for great face time or for taking pics to post online of the kids and our family! One of the features that my husband adores and has become very accustom to, is the multi-touch trackpad. It makes navigating on the touch pad not like any other that we have used on other laptops.

The MacBook Air also comes with the lightning fast Thunderbolt port, which allows it to connect to the devices my husband may need to use for school! Not only do you have the USB ports available, but you can connect to the latest devices that use the USB 3 ports, and the MacBook Air comes with 2 of the USB 3 ports!!! Which in hand make turn the amazing MacBook Air into the ultimate, portable and sleek workstation!!! In all both myself and my husband have found the MacBook Air to be a very impressive computer for personal, professional and educational use, and the MacBook Air will make the perfect gift for dad!!!
