Mother’s Day is a time to recognize and call out the importance of our mother’s role in our lives. We remind our mothers that we *see* them, we appreciate and them and we thank them for how much we have been shaped by their love and care. I always love treating my mom like a queen on Mother’s Day!
As a mom myself, I treasure the charming cards and gifts my kids give each year on Mother’s Day (I thank the teachers a daycare in advance for this year’s wonderful creation!). Since they don’t have their own credit cards yet (lol), my husband always makes sure to help the kiddos pick out some flowers for Mom too. I really am impressed by my local florist’s artistry in executing this arrangement. Goodness knows it is way beyond what I have been able to do when my dear hubby has experimented with the ‘arrange them yourself’ floral deliveries! (I am always somewhat chagrined/embarrassed at my inability to replicate the gorgeous arrangements shown on the photos.)
