Mother’s Day is coming up fast – are you ready yet? We’ve given you lots of great ideas to shower Mom with fun and unique gifts she’ll love. One of our favorite ideas for Mother’s Day is a customized book. We’ve seen lots of customized books for new babies and other holidays, so we were excited to check out the newest “My Mommy” book from Peppa Pig. This is a great (maybe oinktastic even) gift to make both moms and kids happy. Kids love having books read to the them (especially Peppa Pig!), and what’s more fun for Mom than reading a book about how awesome she is (over and over and over and over…)?!?
Ordering the customized book was very easy at the Penwizard site and we loved that we could customize whether to have one or two children, as well as what each child looked like. You can customize skin, hair and eye color, as well as hair style. I created a book for my niece who has two children, a blond boy and girl. I was even able to add glasses to the boy character so Jackson would see himself in the character representing him on the page. That is so cool! I think the whole family is going to love this book!
The book itself is great quality hardcover, with vibrant pictures and the sweet Peppa Pig characters kids love side-by-side with the starring children. I was also impressed that the back cover of the book also has the customized characters in addition to Peppa. That is pretty unique for a customized book.
All in all, I think this book is really cute and my niece will love it. There could be a few more customization options (like changing ‘Mommy’ to ‘Mummy’ or even ‘Grandma’) but that would just be icing on the cake! After seeing how cute this book turned out, I think I have a few more to order in time for Mother’s Day!
We were also able to get a buy one, get one half off coupon offer as well: use this code when buying “HAPPYMOMMY”.
Product received, thank you to Penwizard, as well as the PR for supplying us with a product for this review, all opinions are our own.
I am saving this link for next mother's day for my niece. Another year and her daughter will better understand the book… This is special.
