When it comes to our homes, we like to ensure that we keep our families and homes safe, and like many, I like to have the products on hand that can help monitor our home and the kids. So when we were sent the Y-FLY® HD Wireless WiFi IP Camera Double Antenna to review, I knew that our Tech Blogger, Darell, would enjoy taking on this review. This review is for the Y-FLY® HD Wireless WiFi IP Camera Double Antenna. It took me a few minutes to connect it to my home network but literally, only a few minutes. The quick installation guide is very helpful and if you actually read it, you will have little to no trouble. I found it very simple to install the software app on my Android phone as well as one of our iPhones and appreciate that it has worked well with both platforms.
Once it was up and running I found that the picture quality is very good. Nice, bright and sharp, and the software app connects fast to the camera making it so I can go from the phone home screen to actually viewing in less than 10 seconds. I’m able to move the camera in all directions and look around with it, and with kids in the home I find that it is very nice being able to do that. I actually put this in our front window and it looks through the glass perfectly, and found it is amazing on how clear the picture is even when it is going through the glass. Along with the great picture quality, it also has a microphone and speaker and you can communicate through it if you would like to talk to a person standing in front of the camera. Then when it comes to other features, I like that you can also have it record. My wife and I are very happy with this camera, and found that it works much better than I expected, making it to where we might get a few more to put around the home. We would highly recommend this camera to use in any home, especially when you have kids in the home because it is simple to set up and operate and offers you a piece of mind for when you are home with the kids or when you and your family are away from home so you can help to keep your house secure. This seems to have some great features. I wonder where the recorded video is stored.
I've been wanting to have a video camera inside and outside of my house for even more protection. It would make me feel more secure.
This looks like a pretty nice camera. It would be great to monitor kids or pets or your front door.
