I have said before, I am a soda addict!! I love soda, especially diet soda. I am not the only one in my house that is a soda addict either. My husband drinks his share of soda as well. I am sure that if we were to add up all the money we spend on soda, it would be really sad. But, both of us being former smokers, I dont think the amount we spend on soda is that bad. Another thing I know that I do think about when drinking soda, is all the bad stuff we consume, like sugar, carbs, sodium and calories. Not good, I know. I do go out and buy the new sodas I find that are better for me, but regardless of that, the money we spend on soda is insane. When I was given the opportunity to test and review a SodaStream in my home, I thought to myself, “I hope it works”. The UPS guy hadnt even started his truck up, before my husband was already unloading the SodaStream from the box and setting it up. He was so excited to try it. I was thrilled to be able to try the SodaStream and review it, but my husband was like a little kid opening a new toy, lol. I found out, that when I told him we were going to review one, he went on the site and did his homework. Within just a few minutes, he was already making himself some root beer. Once I tried the root beer, I was in love. I then asked my husband to make me some diet cola, then the kids asked for some soda as well. Amazing!! Not only is this soda so very easy to make, but it tastes soooo good! Another plus is, when we later went to the site to look at other flavors that we are going to try, we looked at the price for each flavor?! Wow, and you only use a cap full of flavor per bottle. Each of the flavor bottles makes 12 liters. Who would have thunk it? That not only could we make our own soda at home that actually tastes really great, but now we will be saving tons of money by doing so! Oh, and dont let me forget the fact that this homemade soda that you make with the amazing SodaStream is also so much better for you than the soda you buy at the store! I am so hooked!!!!!!!!!!!!
Step 1 empty bottle and SodaStream |
