My Hubby :'(

Last night my husband, who is only 32 years old, started to complain of chest pain. It began around 10:30pm. He tried to ignore it until it began to get sharper and started making his chest get tight. He went to the hospital and they admitted him. He ended up having to stay the night up there. Just got the news and its not horrible but its not good either. He will have to stay the day and they want to keep till at least tomorrow. I never expected for something like this to happen to him. Like I said before, he is only 32. He had just quit smoking when our son had surgery because he wanted to better himself for us. God, I pray that he will be ok. The doctors think he had a mild heart attack and they are scared it could happen again. Last night, when he got to the hospital and they checked his vitals, they were bad. Blood pressure, way up, pulse way up and he was clammy and loosing color. They immediately took him back and gave him some nitrates. I am only 28, way too young to be loosing my 32 year old husband to a heart attack. Our kids are still babies, we have so much planned for the future. He will graduate this Spring from IT school. This cant be happening. For right now, I am just going to pray and wait for what the doctors have to say.

I'll keep you in my prayers. My mom had a heart attack at 33, and she has been just fine since then. Hopefully, your hubby will have the same experince. Good luck!

OMG!I am so sorry to hear you are going through this. I will be keeping you both in my prayers. Just remember the heart is the one organ they know a lot about, so they should be able to get him through this just fine. My Mom went through triple bypass at 58, and has recovered well. Sending hugs and blessings your way!Jill

*hugs* for you. Take a deep breath. I know how scary this is but try to think positively right now, don't even think about the worst of it. I will add you, your husband and your children to my prayers and I hope the doctors are able to get him taken care of and on track to getting better. It might take some life style changes, quitting smoking was a wonderful first step and I'm sure there will be other things he can do. How is he doing now? How did he do through the night?
