With Spring just around the corner, I know that like many other families out there, we are looking forward to and already planning some really great camping and outdoor adventures. I was given a Kelty FC 3.0 to sample and review for my readers, courtesy of the wonderful people from Kelty!! With all of this snow lately, we take full advantage of any sunshine and warmth that might come our way! And this past weekend, we had that chance. The snow has started melting and we are all over the flu in our house, so we decided to take a trip to the Canyon and walk around with the kids and check out all of the snow! When we began our walk our 2 year old was full of energy so we let him run and play in the puddles and snow. But once we had gotten into the Canyon he was wore out and he wanted a drink and snack then to be carried since his little legs were tired. That is what I love about the Kelty FC 3.0! Not only can you carry your child when hiking in it, but you can also carry the water, snacks, wipes, extra clothing plus more if you wanted!! It was so easy to put on and get our son into. Then when we were ready to take a break with him in the carrier, I was able to take off the carrier with my son still inside and set him up on the ground. With the sun shining, Robert kept on complaining about the sun getting in his eyes, so we put the Kelty Sun Hood on and fixed that issue. I am guessing that the carrier was comfortable, because once we got about halfway out of the Canyon, my husband said that Robert was asleep. In fact, he slept the entire way back to the car. I wish I had a carrier for me because my legs felt like jello by the time we got to the car! I would have to say that the Kelty FC 3.0 passed the first of many outdoor tests and I would suggest that anyone with little ones that enjoys the outdoors as much as we do, needs to have a Kelty FC 3.0.
