We are done with the preparations for Thanksgiving and now I am in full swing for preparing for our Christmas dinner. One thing that we find we have to have at Christmas dinner is a Christmas Ham! Our Christmas dinners are usually fairly large and the ham is just one of those must haves at our table. Another thing that we do on Christmas day, is serve some appetizers and sandwiches throughout the day. One thing that I love using when making different appetizers is bacon. Bacon just makes everything taste good. I love making bacon wrapped jalepeno poppers around the holidays, and they always seem to be a huge hit! Well this year, my shopping list was made a little easier because I was sent some amazing items from a great online store called Burgers’ Smokehouse! I was sent a very delicious looking City Ham and a couple of things of yummy bacon!! When I got the City Ham, I went on their site to read the description. From the look of the ham and the description of it, I am having a very hard time leaving it in the freezer until Christmas! I know that this ham will be a huge hit this Christmas and it will serve well as our main course meat!
Now with the bacon we were sent, we just had to try ahead of time! With the Pepper Bacon, I used it in a very delicious cream of potato soup, which just made my soup recipe soar!!!
With the Old Fashioned Applewood Country Bacon, I will save it for our Christmas day appetizers!! These items are perfect for what we need them for and after looking over the Burgers’ Smokehouse site, I found that they have just about every meat you could want for just about any reason. From the just getting some groceries for the home to stocking up for a cook out, dinner with friends, or for any special occasion like Christmas! Check out the selection of foods they have over at Burgers’ Smokehouse, and do some shopping while you are there as well!!

Love potato soup and love bacon! Now I'm even hungrier 🙂
This looks delicious! I bet the bacon would be great on a BLT. What kind of appetizers are you planning on making with it? I also love potato soup!
Ooooh B A C O N!
