Jolly Octopus (2011 Holiday Gift Guide)

My kids love playing games together, in fact, now that Robert has gotten older, we have found more and more games that we can successfully teach both of our kids and all have fun together with! A game that we were sent to review over the holiday season is Jolly Octopus. This game is tons of fun, this is one of those games that we can all get into and enjoy, or one that I can put out for my kids and watch them have fun together with! Jolly Octopus is a game that may look quite simple, but you will find that you have to be fast and that it does take skill to do! Jolly is a octopus who has colorful crabs that you have to get. Each of the crabs are color coded and the first player with all 5 of their color coded crabs, wins! Easy right, not really! In order to get the crabs you have to get past the fact that Jolly is constantly waving his arms up and down, and the fact that the rock he is on is moving, oh and as you go on it gets harder and harder. Jolly Octopus is tons of fun and I love seeing my kids laughing when they are playing together, and Jolly Octopus will do that to your kids too!! So this holiday season when you are looking for a fun game to bring the kids together or even the family together, then get Jolly Octopus!!
